Notes to read before you fill in this form.
The Government has announced further support for businesses that are instructed to close due to localised restrictions and national lockdown. This support will take the form of a grant funding scheme in Financial Year 2020-2021, called the Local Restrictions Support Grant
To be eligible for the grant, a business that was open as usual and providing in-person services to customers must have been instructed to close due to either local or national COVID-19 restrictions. Businesses that have chosen to close but not been required to will not be eligible for this grant.
To enable the Council to issue these grants the Council requires businesses to supply their bank details and to make a state aid declaration.
Any business caught falsifying their records to gain additional grant money will face prosecution and any funding issued will be subject to claw back.
To complete the COVID 19 Local Restrictions Support Grant Form you will need:
- The Business Rates account number
- Bank Details
- VAT Registration Number if VAT registered
- Companies Number if a Limited Company
- Details of any State Aid, if applicable
