If you have claimed, or are eligible to claim, for any of the schemes listed below, for this property or any other property relating to this business (including outside of the Sefton Council boundary), you cannot apply for this funding.
- Small Business Grant Fund - The Dairy Hardship Fund - The Fisheries Response Fund
- Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant - Domestic Seafood Supply Scheme (DSSS) - The Zoos Support Fund
Companies that are in Administration, are Insolvent or where a Striking-Off Notice has been made are not eligible for funding under this scheme.
Visitor Economy businesses:
If you have fixed property costs of £15,000 or less apply for the Small Business Grant.
If you have fixed property costs above £15,000 apply for the Visitor Economy Support Grant.
Note:
To complete the Discretionary Business Support Grant online application, you will need:
- The full address and postcode of your bank
- The bank sort code and account number
- Your Business Rates Account number if you pay business rates to Sefton Council
- Company Number (if appropriate)
- Charity Number (if appropriate)
- Unique Taxpayer Reference code for sole traders (if appropriate)
To accompany your application, you will also need to provide:
1. Business Rates (Non-Domestic) Notice showing a rateable value of less than £51,000. AND
Commercial lease/licence or commercial mortgage document showing occupancy on 11th March 2020.
If you do not pay Business Rates:
Commercial lease/licence or commercial mortgage document showing occupancy on 11th March 2020 and payments of less than £51,000 per year.
Note:
Rateable value/annual commercial rent/annual commercial mortgage can be more than £51,000 if you are a business in the Visitor Economy.
2. Bank Statements showing commercial rent or commercial mortgage payment before 11th March 2020 if you are making a claim based on commercial rent/commercial mortgage payments of less than £51,000 a year.
3. Evidence of loss of earnings (see FAQs for acceptable evidence).
4. Utility Bill showing usage before 11th March 2020 (if applicable).
5. Two Supplier Invoices/receipts dated before 11th March 2020
6. Evidence of all current employees (see FAQs for acceptable evidence)
